…Nnamdi Kanu Was Kidnapped
The indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) staged a peaceful protest outside the Nigeria High Commission in London to press for the release of their leader and Director Radio of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Addressing the media during the protest the Deputy Director of the Indigenous People of Biafra and Deputy Director of Radio Biafra Mr Uche Mefor said that Nnamdi Kanu was actually kidnapped by the Department of State Security (DSS) contrary to the earlier media report. These people criminally abducted him and that is exactly what happens to the Indigenous people of Biafra daily in Nigeria. So, we are here to tell the world about what is happening us, although some of them know but prefer to look the other way, he said.
We are also here to protest the illegal detention and continued incarceration of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Nnamdi kanu by the Nigerian security agents and of course ordered by their President Muhammadu Buhari. We are again sending unmistakable signals to the world that we are being hounded like animals, killed and massacred in our private homes, place of worship and economically emaciated, politically disenfranchised and more importantly we are on the verge of extinction as a people.
Buhari has sent his Army down to Biafra land and they are collaborating with corrupt governors in Eastern Region because they want to control Biafra’s land so that they will have unfettered access to control everything we have in the region.
You can see from the number of people here today that our agitation is for a just course. God is on our side and nothing will stop us until we get to our destination which is Biafra.
We are calling on Muhammadu Buhari and his agents to release immediately our leader and Director of Radio Biafra Nnamdi Kanu or face the consequences.
One of the protesters who identified himself as Dr Wilson Anene added that they want their Director Nnamdi Kanu released now and not tomorrow. ‘Nnamdi did not commit any crime neither was he armed, his arrest and detention by the Nigeria Government led by Muhammadu Buhari is a criminal act to say the least.
The peaceful protest attracted a large number of people across the UK who are sympathetic to the restoration of the Republic of Biafra.

Forty five years after the Biafra -Nigeria civil ended, Biafra is still in the news it means there is something wrong with Nigeria.
