The Independent National Electoral Commission has announced that election will be conducted within 30 days in the states where elections were declared inconclusive. In Imo State, election will be held in the following 23 LGAs:

There will be no election re-run in Ahiazu Mbaise, Ideato North, Owerri Municipal and Ideato South.
