The incumbent Governor of Imo State Nigeria, Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha has won the state’s governorship election.

Owelle Okorocha polled 416,996 votes out of the total 806,764 votes cast in the election. Sir Emeka Ihedioha came second by polling a total of 320,705 and Emmanuel Iheanacho of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) came third with 28,434 votes.
