Where is Nnamdi Kanu? The who’s who in Nigeria, especially those from the South East and South South have suddenly zipped their lips or gone into hibernation. None of them is saying anything about the disappearance of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. They all wine and dine as if nothing happened. If they are not puzzled, we all are. Their silence seemed bought, but let it not be with the blood of our young men and women. It was only a few months ago that these so-called who’s who were falling over themselves to secure pole positions in Afara-Ukwu, Umuahia to see Mazi Kanu. Even some of them may have secretly joined Mazi Kanu’s Indigenous People of Biafra to remain relevant.  

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB riled and put Nigeria on notice for her numerous and unending iniquitous treatment of ‘Biafrans’. He enlivened the former Eastern Region with his apodictic messages. Now, he is missing. We don’t know what happened to him. The earth is gone quiet, his messages are lost or piped and nobody knows whether he is alive or dead. His parents are also missing. But what we know is, there are some bent people in our mist who think they would be better off with outsiders and their sweeteners. But they forgot that bungs can only keep them in new clothes for a short period. Pray, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is found alive

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu did not just wake up one morning and became a missing person. He became a missing person after a combined team of the Army, Police, DSS and the Civil Defence Corps invaded his home in Afara Ukwu, Umuahia in what they christened Operation Python Dance or Egwu Eke in Igbo on September 14, 2017. The invasion of Mazi Kanu’s home by the Armed forces allegedly led to the killing of some members of the IPOB who were in the compound. Nobody is talking about them and the so-called who’s who people are keeping mute as if nothing is wrong or happened. Everything is wrong. Pray, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is found alive.

Before the invasion of Nnamdi Kanu’s home, many Nigerians especially of the Igbo who’s who stock talked beyond and above their nous. They derided and called Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB offensive names without knowing or listening to their messages or why they want Biafra. Some of them became on-the-spot Ph.D. holders in Nnamdi Kanu/IPOB. Even some turncoats who seek for relevance went from one media house to another purposely to upload smuts that do not exist on Mazi Kanu and IPOB. What these turncoats fail to realize is, if those who had the opportunity to be in government had done the needful, there wouldn’t be any Mazi Kanu. Pray, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is found alive.

It is now fashionable to traduce Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to get rewarded. Mazi Kanu did not create Biafra. Biafra was there when he was born, Biafra is still there and will ever be. But for now, there is no country called Biafra. But as long as inequality persists in Nigeria and soldiers continue to write injudicious books to glorify their murderous adventures during the Nigeria/Biafra war, Biafra will remain alive and mighty.

That some people call Mazi Nnamdi Kanu stupid or hate the idea of Biafra is inconsequential. Nnamdi Kanu is now a phenomenon and if nothing positive is done to assuage the ill-feelings among the ‘Biafra’, the seeds Mazi Nnamdi sowed in the fertile minds of New Generation of Biafrans will continue to grow and expand in every continent in the world. Pray Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is found alive.

On the proscription of IPOB, the Federal Government succeeded only in pitching the who’s who in the former Eastern Region against others in the Region.  The who’s who if there is still any left are now intensely unloved. Their un-beloved stems from their perceived acquiesce in the invasion and alleged killing of unarmed youths in Abia State by the Nigeria armed forces. The people felt that they have done nothing wrong. They argue that if Python could dance in the East, why would the same Python smile in the North where Arewa youths gave other Nigerians Quit Notice and Boko Haram is daily killing and maiming innocent people. Why would Python not dance in the West where some youths have Publicly declared Oduduwa Republic. Pray, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is found alive.

The blame game must stop. Whosoever that is holding Mazi Nnamdi Kanu must let him go now. The Biafra he is advocating is not about war. The warmongers are those who want Nigeria to remain as it is. They are the people that ran Nigeria aground and rendered it impotent. Pray, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is found alive.

Suddenly everybody kept quiet. The where-about of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu should be a concern to every right-thinking Nigeria. Mazi Kanu is not a politician. And if he was, he does not speak with a forked tongue. He talks straight and he talks the truth which is alien to all the who’s who in Nigeria. This conspiracy of silence must stop. If Mazi Kanu is dead, let his body be returned to Afara-Ukwu where he is a Prince for proper burial. Where is Mazi Nnamdi Kanu? Pray, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is found alive.
