The people of Imo State have at last jettisoned ‘iberiberism’ in the state by electing Rt. Hon Emeka Ihedioha as their Executive Governor.
Sir Emeka Ihedioha’s victory was largely made possible by the gallantry of Imo people who resisted all unscrupulous behaviours and tricks used by Governor Rochas Ethelbert Okorocha and his henchmen in the state to truncate the electoral process and the will of the people.
Rochas Okorocha has been the Governor of Imo state since 2011. He will complete his maximum eight-year term in May 2019. But in the just concluded election, he fought frantically to install his son-in-law Uche Nwosu, as the next Governor of the state. And, if Imo people had allowed him and his infamy brigade, they would have created a political dynasty that is non-native to the Igbo nation.
Congratulations to his honourable Ihedioha.
Sir, the out-going governor was highly celebrated when he took office some 8 years ago, unfortunately greed ,arrogance and pride could not allow him to pay back the trust the people of imo state had for him. He betrayed every body including his very close associates.
Imo state was bastardised, he single handed destroyed all local government institutions, he made imo state house of Assembly irrelevant. He distroyed traditional Royal institution.
with the help of his family including Uche Nwosu embezzled and usurped both imo state monies and properties.
We plead with you to ensure that all I’ll gotten wealth must be recovered. Unfortunately some of these wealth belong to private individuals which he stole by trickery.
When he took up office, he was very ruthless in recovering stolen and mis appropraited properties from the then bannished Ohakin.
please please whatever you do recover Imo-state properties from Rochas and his families.
