Yesterday I took a walk with my older son Ikemba. I asked him if he wanted to be successful. His response was immediate. Yes, Dad, he responded. I then asked him how prepared he was to be successful. He was quiet for some time. Often in life, we all want to be successful in all we do. We are not talking about wealth and all the luxury things of life. We are talking about being successful in even the little things we do. Often times our expectations show up in our behaviour.
I feel that lack of money is the root of all evil. So, while we lack should that make us compromise our standards, morals, behaviour, and attitudes?
We need to continue to renew our minds constantly towards the part of good deeds, service without expectation, helping without seeking for rewards, sacrifice based on the obedience of divine expectations.
We need to build bridges of life. No matter how dangerous a river is once a bridge is built across it, People forget its danger.
Every obstacle, every issue, every pain, every situation becomes easy once we build the bridge of passage.
Let’s get our minds, thoughts, dreams and quest right.
All things shall flow naturally.
No matter how ruffled the sea becomes, the fish will never prefer land to water.
Enjoy your day.
