I, Elder Adolf Agbasonu President of Imo Elders Union in London and President Owerri Peoples Assembly UK Branch on behalf of my family and good people of Imo State resident in London, congratulate our new EQUITABLE GOVERNOR-ELECT His Excellency Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha on his well-deserved victory as the Governor-Elect of Imo State, Nigeria.

 

Your Excellency, your victory is a testimony of the confidence the people of lmo state reposed in you. It manifests that your track record of achievements in previous offices you held were appreciated by the people. There is no doubt that with your victory, Imo State is now safe in the hands of God. I also congratulate all Imo People for turning out en-masse to put their fate in your hands. I use this medium to advise the good people of lmo State to rally round Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha to ensure that your objective of rebuilding Imo State is achieved. This is more important especially now that the Rule of law and Due Process will take prominence in Ihedioha’s regime.

 

There is no doubt that you will use your wealth of experience and wide knowledge of leadership and wisdom to return Imo State back to its pride of place and to its enviable position as one of the best States in the Federation. All you need is the cooperation of all and sundry. I also congratulate all PDP leaders and Officers as well as the entire citizens of Imo State who for 8 years have been praying and asking God to liberate them from the apron string of tyrannical government.

 

My special thanks go to the President General of Owerri Peoples Assembly Engr Dr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu CFR, His Excellency Air Commodore Dr L C Ochulor, the Imo PDP Elders Council, Leaders of Owerri Peoples Assembly, London branch, Imo Elders Union, London branch, Owerri Peoples Assembly, Nigeria Headquarters Glass House Secretariat, Owerri, Owerri Elders Council, Imo Advisory Elders Council and Imo Youths for their solidarity and zeal to change the “ARABIC” Government in Imo State.

 

Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha’s victory is a victory for the Rule of Law, a victory for Democracy, a victory for unity, Peace and Good governance for the entire Imo State.
