Almighty God is constantly not happy with evil and wicked men. Hence, he is in the business of raising strong vessels of honour to counter the antics and operations of the devil and his human agents.
For you to confront the devil and his human agents, you must be a man of courage, filled with the Holy Spirit of Almighty God. When evil and wicked men bark at you, you do not have to be afraid or shiver in fear. You must step out boldly to confront them. You must jump into the boxing ring to give them the beating they deserve. As a vessel unto honour, you should never shy away from the challenge of the devil and his human agents. God has not given us the spirit of fear, rather he has constantly given us the spirit of boldness, courage and fearlessness to deal ruthlessly with the devil and his agents.
It was Arch-Bishop Desmond Tutu who said, “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an Elephant has its feet on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the oppressed mouse will not appreciate your neutrality”. Conversely, Almighty God has raised strong vessels of honour that will in turn fight and crush these shameless oppressors who are in the habit of oppressing the less privileged in the society.
Chief CY Amako popularly called IRETE 1 is a known personality in Imo State. He knows me and I knew him enough. His path has never crossed mine and vice verse. Nevertheless, injustice or oppression done to one person, affects the entire society. Hence, vessels of honour must rise up to protect the oppressed and the society at large.
Few days ago, a young man (Mr. Chimamkpam Kingsley Mgbemena Alias Mr. Chymo) came to my house here in Owerri and poured out his heart to me in tears. He tearfully narrated how he bought a piece of land at Irete Community in Owerri-West LGA, from the family of Mr. Chigaemezu Cyril Opara of Umuekwune II Umuorie Orji Irete Community and quickly commenced the building of a two storey mansion of ten flats, after obtaining the necessary papers both from the Ministry of Lands, Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA) and from the family he bought the said land. He told me he completed his house within Eight months after investing over N100 million naira. The House was an all Marble mansion and was to be opened before Christmas of 2016.
Mr. Chymo actually returned home from Overseas where he has been working and doing business in the past eleven years, to open his mansion. Just 48 hours to the opening of the house, Chief CY Amako (Irete 1) reportedly connived with the new General Manager of OCDA, who in turn sent his HOD, Mr. Austin Ukaegbu with their bulldozers, accompanied by over 30 armed thugs and 6 heavily armed policemen and demolished the mansion. According to Mr. Chymo, Chief CY Amako reportedly claimed that Governor Rochas Okorocha sent him to demolish the House, and that the piece of land upon which the demolished house was built belong to the Irete Community and not to the family of Mr. Chigaemezu Cyril Opara, who eventually sold it to Mr. Chymo. Furthermore, Chief CY Amako reportedly claimed that as a community land, the Imo State Government acquired it for State development but later released it to him.

Not done, Chief CY Amako was alleged to be using both armed thugs, Officers of Imo State Police Command and Officials of OCDA to intimidate Mr. Chymo and the family he (Mr. Chymo) bought the land from. And with the very weak and corrupt Judicial system in Imo State, Chief CY Amako was sure of having his way. The said piece of land is guarded by CY Amako’s thugs.
After narrating the whole storey to me, I cautioned him not to cry again, assuring him that Almighty God would fight for him, if only he has faith in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. Also, I assured him of my support, if what he narrated to me was the whole truth. In a bid to confirm the truth of the story as narrated to me by Mr. Chymo, a team of fearless men was quickly raised to visit Irete Community the following day on a fact finding mission. And our fears were confirmed. We confirmed that the said Chief CY Amako (Irete1) has been a terror to the people living in Irete Community. He is a land grabber and does things with impunity. We confirmed that he uses the Police and corrupt officials of OCDA to harass and intimidate the people of Irete Community, after forcefully taking their lands. Finally, we confirmed that he always uses the name of Governor Rochas Okorocha to harass the residents of Irete community.
We visited the family of Mr. Chigaemezu Cyril Opara who sold the land to Mr. Chymo. The head of the family, Mr. Chigaemezu Cyril Opara received us. All the people who signed the Power of Attorney for the said land were sent for, and they came and honoured us with greetings. We asked them questions on Camera. All their explanations and discussion with us were tape-recorded.
However, they confirmed that the Imo State Government sometime in the 90’s took possession of some lands in Irete Community. But the community landowners came together and protested to Government on the need to release their lands to them, arguing that they needed it both for Agricultural purposes and for family expansion. A letter to that effect was sent to the then Government of Achike Udenwa on the 20th of July 2002 and signed by Rev. J. C. Okenwa and Mr. Martin Iwunze. The Imo State Government responded on the 22nd of May 2003, through the Ministry of Lands, Survey and Urban Planning, releasing the lands to the land owners of Irete Community. The letter was signed by Chief Patrick Osuji, who was the Honourable commissioner (see the attached letter).
Having come this far, the family of Mr. Chigaemezu Cyril Opara maintained that the land they sold to Mr. Chymo was their Land, and was never in dispute. They expressed readiness to appear before any Court and or any shrine to indeed prove that they owned the land before selling same to Mr. Chymo. However, they complained that Chief CY Amako (Irete 1) has been harassing and threatening to deal with them, if they continue to show support to Mr. Chymo whom they sold the land to. They further complained that the same Chief CY Amako has been using Officers of the Imo State Police Command, thugs and armed cult boys to harass and intimidate them, just because they are from a lowly family background.
Further checks revealed that Chief CY Amako (Irete 1) as a notorious land grabber in Irete Community had planned and concluded arrangement to sell the said land (belonging to Mr. Chymo) and other lands therein measuring about 80 plots to the Chairman of MTN. and DIAMOND Bank Plc. Mr. Paschal Dozie, who has been alleged to have made part payment to Chief CY Amako. Perhaps, frustrated that the erection of the two storey building by Mr. Chymo would “spoil his Deal” with Mr. Paschal Dozie, Chief CY Amako turned around to spread the “NEWS” that Governor Rochas Okorocha has authorized him to demolish buildings within that vicinity. And pronto, Chief CY Amako pulled down the two storey building, property of his fellow man, with the assistance of corrupt officials of OCDA and officers of Imo State Police Command, and with no valid court order.
Further investigation also confirmed that CY Amako though from Irete Community is not from Umuekwune II Umuorie Orji Irete, and does not own any land in that particular community either by inheritance or through purchase of land. Rather, what he does is to grab people’s land, sell them and finally use the police and corrupt OCDA officials to intimidate land owners in Irete Community. Even when he is dragged to court, Chief CY Amako reportedly exploits the very weak and monumentally corrupt Judicial System in the State Judiciary to frustrate the case. Few years ago, this same Chief CY Amako reportedly bought three plots of land from a family in another community in Irete, but he allegedly turned around to claim that it was ten plots of land he paid for. As usual, he reportedly used the police to intimidate and harass that family into submission.
Also, many months ago, Chief CY Amako reportedly made an attempt to grab a piece of land measuring about 14 plots in Irete community, when he sold a dummy to the owners that Governor Rochas Okorocha had instructed him to take possession of the land for the construction of an “Ultra Modern Civic Centre” for the people of Irete. But he was resisted and rather told to inform “Governor Okorocha” to come and construct the road that would lead to the so called “Ultra-Modern Civic Centre” first.
Chief CY Amako is reportedly known as being fond of dropping Governor Okorocha name in Irete Community whenever he wants to take people’s land. Yet this same Chief CY Amako is not an official of the Imo State Government. He is not a representative of Owelle Okorocha. Why then does he always drop Okorocha name in his dubious activities? This is why Governor Okorocha must step out to deal with the situation at hand.
However, having confirmed the reported notorious activities of Chief CY Amako (Irete 1) in Irete community, I decided to call him on phone on Thursday the 12th of January 2017. We exchanged pleasantries, after which I quickly informed him to save my number for we would have a long discussion on a “certain issue” within the next one or two days. Although he felt uncomfortable by my request, he however reluctantly accepted my proposal.
The following day being Friday the 13th of January 2017, I released the “firing shot” (press release) through my facebook Account alerting the public of the notorious activities of Chief CY Amako (Irete 1) and his land grabbing madness, with the promise to do and publish a detailed write-up today Monday 16th o January 2017 (Please see attached).
As should be expected, the Press release went viral and as a result, Chief CY Amako called me on phone the following day Saturday 14th January 2017 at exactly 12:36pm and we had a detailed discussion that lasted for 57 minutes.
He denied being responsible for the demolition of the two storey building. He admitted that he never owned any land at the said location, and never sent anybody to demolish any building. Rather, Chief CY Amako with his own mouth during my telephone conversation with him named Governor Rochas Okorocha as being responsible for the demolition of the two storey building, property of Mr. Chymo. I asked him again to re-confirm his statement and allegation against Governor Okorocha, and he repeated that Governor Rochas Okorocha did it. Again, I asked him the same question the third time and he mentioned the
Governor’s name.
At this point, I asked him thus ______________ “If Governor Rochas Okorocha ordered for the demolition of the two storey building, how come you Chief CY Amako (Irete 1) mounted your company’s sign post there, immediately after the demolition. Your personal phone number was equally on that same sign post as the contact. I asked him again what his Company’s sign post was doing within that vicinity? He could not answer the question. Perhaps, it was at that point he realized what he had done. I informed him that we have the pictures of the sign post. Furthermore, I told Chief CY Amako that as an exhibit, we have taken the sign post away and put it into protective custody. At this point in our conversation, he broke down, and managed to say that he knew that I was recording our discussion. Finally, I asked Chief CY Amako why he has been harassing and intimidating the family of Mr. Chigaemezu Cyril Opara with thugs, Police and cult boys just because they sold their land to Mr. Chymo? Again he could not answer. He knew I have him by his balls, so he exclaimed “Samuelson Iwuoha, I am still Chief CY Amako, Irete Nke Mbu”. To me, this is nonsensical nonsense and balderdash.
No evil and wicked man will go unpunished. An injustice done to one man is an injustice done to the entire society. As a tested warlord, I have once again stepped out to fight for the injured in our society. I have jumped into the boxing ring to give Chief CY Amako(Irete 1) the beating he deserves. Almighty God gave him a long time to repent, but he abused the rare privilege. I am aware that Chief CY Amako (Irete 1) is reportedly a renowned killer. I am aware that he moves about with armed thugs and cult boys. But I am equal to the task ahead. I move about with the Glory of Almighty God. I move about with the Anointing of Almighty God. O YES, I am NWACHINEMERE.
I am therefore calling on the Imo State Government led by His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha to without further delay order for the arrest and prosecution of Chief CY Amako (Irete 1). I am also calling on the Imo State Police Command led by CP Taiwo Lakanu to ensure that Chief CY Amako (Irete 1) does not escape justice.
Let me put it on record, and absolutely clear that at no time was the demolished two storey mansion marked for demolition by OCDA; from its foundation level to its completion stage. The General Manager of OCDA and the HOD must explain why they connived with Chief CY Amako (Irete 1) to perpetuate this evil and wickedness on an innocent man (Mr. Chymo), who never contravened the law of the land.
It is a shame that in Imo State, criminals are given official cover, security and protection, while perpetuating their crime against humanity. Perhaps, another OTOKOTO RIOT will stop all these madness in the State. I am very serious about this.
Our team of lawyers will file charges against Chief CY Amako (Irete 1), OCDA and others involved in this show of evil and wickedness any moment from now. The Imo State Judiciary led by Hon. Chief Justice Paschal Nnadi should know that justice delayed is justice denied. Therefore I make bold to state and declare that we will brutally fight the Imo State judiciary with materials available to us, if we notice any judicial rascality in this particular matter.
Honestly, Chief C.Y. Amako’s filthy cup is full. I do not have a gun but I have the gun, CY Amako has given me the bullet to shoot him.
