I STAND WITH JAMMEH

Yes I do, and I stand with him with all my heart. ECOWAS should respect the sovereignty of Gambia and self determination of its people. And I want to use this opportunity to advise them (ECOWAS) and the rest of the world never to repeat the Libya mistake.

I wonder where ECOWAS suddenly derive the powers to enforce change of government, when they cannot enforce the implementation of court rulings by their own ECOWAS court. This is shameless.

If ECOWAS is serious about enforcing democracy in West Africa, why then somebody like Sambo Dasuki could still be illegally imprisoned by Buhari’s government, even after the so-called ECOWAS court ruled that he should be set free?

Instead of sanctioning Buhari for such an unconstitutional action and bridging of International Treaty, the same ECOWAS appointed Buhari to lead d ECOWAS delegation to Gambia, to enforce another International Treaty on political transition. Somebody that did not obey the ruling of their court.

I urge ECOWAS to handle the Gambia issues with caution. And ensure they listen to the right advice and also use the right people. And not people that have the history of flaunting court rulings.
