On behalf of European Igbo Community EIC, we congratulate the President General-Elect BAR JOHN NNIA NWODO, the Secretary General BAR UCHE OKWUKWU, and all members of the newly elected Executive Council of Ohanaeze Ndigbo on their victory in the last general election held on 10th January, 2017 in Enugu, Nigeria.
Like wise, we commend the efforts of the Imeobi, the outgoing Executives and the entire components of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, It’s our pleasure to send you our very best wishes on your smooth transition especially at a time like this that the whole of South East need to speak with one voice and in a strong accord.
We remain glad and proud of the selfless efforts made by the outgoing leadership of Chief Gary Enwo- Igariweh President General Emeritus, Dr. Joe Nwaorgu Secretary General Emeritus and their team who worked with the Igbo Diaspora leadership like never before. It might interest you to note that Ohanaeze Ndigbo has truly earned the respect of the groups such as IWA – Igbo World Assembly, CISA – Council of Igbo States in Americas (USA & Canada), and of course the EIC – European Igbo Community who have had the pleasure of cooperating with her. A big up to the President of IWA Dr. Nwachukwu Anakwenze & the entire IWA leaders and Reps of different member countries from around the globe.
As we, our affiliates and partners continue to observe, engage, and monitor the Igbo affairs worldwide, we are confident that the Igbos have chosen another formidable team that will represent their interests, defend and uphold the core Igbo values, cooperate with neighbours and friends of Ndigbo, embrace innovative ideas for development, regional self sustenance and National unity, speak with one voice without fear, favour or rancour.
