Imo state Union UK has invested Chief Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ahanonu as a Patron of the Union. The investiture was at the recently held Imo Day 2013 in London. Chief Ahanonu was the President of Imo State Union UK from 2008 – 2012. Imo State Union is an umbrella and Individual Membership Organization that serves the Socio / Welfare needs of Imo citizens in the United Kingdom. Prior to his election as the President, he was the Secretary Rogers Group, a Management Consultancy firm that provides support to new and existing entrepre neurs in the United Kingdom.
In his capacity as a Board Member of a number of Funding Organizations, he has helped Nige- rian Entrepreneurs access Grants/Funds to establish or expand their businesses. Chief Ahanonu is a Director at Emason Finance, a Company that provides Private and confidential advisory services to investors. He is also a Director of Morethanskills.com, a Global Marketplace/Platform that connects more than 1.5 million highly skilled and competent Entrepreneurs, Private Business Owners, Corporate Companies, Financial Institutions, Private/Public Associations, Local Governments and Charities to sellers and buyers of products and services across the globe.
Chief Emmanuel Ahanonu is also a Director at Community Business Enfield, and responsible for finance. This is an Organization that provides stra- tegic leadership to Social Enterprises in Enfield, North London. Community Business Enfield gives Grants/Funding to the value of £1 Million to support SMEs in the area. Chief Ahanonu holds a BA in Business Studies; MBA in Management specialising in Finance and Investment and LLM Financial Markets. He also has an Honours Diploma in Communication Advertising and Marketing.
