A team of Special Anti-Robbery Squad stormed the country home of the Elombah family in the early hours of today and rounded up UK-based human rights activist lawyer cum journalist, Daniel Elombah and his brothers Tim Elombah and Izuchukwu E

They invaded in a commando-style few days after he landed Nigeria with his family season’s holiday. 

 Valuables including our telephones, laptops and many other means of contact and communication were removed from us as they ransacked our rooms.

We were informed at SARS Anambra State’s headquarter that the reason for the arrest is that Elombah.com wrote an article against the Inspector General of Police. 

We implore all the citizens of our dear country Nigeria to rise and demand for the immediate release of Daniel Elombah and the brothers.
