To celebrate our rich Igbo cultural heritage, the 3r Productions and Events CIC presents the 2nd Miss Adanma Beauty Pageant; an event aimed to promote and showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Igbo people of Eastern Nigeria. This event will take place at the Selby Centre, Tottenham, London, N17 8JL, on 25th June 2016.
Beauty, they say, is in the eyes of the beholder. In Igbo custom, the virtues of humility, modesty, kindness, and community pride, are all extolled as part of beauty; hence, Miss Adanma (Daughter of Beauty) epitomizes, all the aforementioned qualities.
The organization empowers women to develop the confidence they need to achieve their personal best. The show creative director, Ruffina Adimora of 3r Productions and Events CIC, is the Etiquette, Deportment, and Elocution Coach for this beauty competition; in which the winner will receive price worth £3,500 of training for modeling portfolio with Poise Modeling Agency.
The Winner will also make an appearance at the forthcoming Igbo Festival of Arts and Culture London 2016, as well as pay a courtesy visit to the High Commission, Lord Mayor and Community Councilors offices, a trip to Nigeria to support children and widowers plus other duties through her one-year reign as Miss Adanma Queen.
We invite the British community, friends of Ndigbo and people with business interests to be our guests as we celebrate this great day. The event will be very interactive, affording guests the opportunity to meet and interact with the Igbo people of Nigeria. It will provide detailed insight into the traditions and cultures of the Igbo people.
