The Chairman of the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) Prof. Attahiru Jega has declared General Muhammadu Buhari the winner of Nigeria’s Presidential held on the 28 March, 2015. According to Prof Jega, General Buhari certified the requirements of the law and scored the highest number of votes in the election.

Earlier President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan conceded defeat in the polls and congratulated General Buhari wishing him luck.
